തനിമലയാളം ലിസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്യുന്നവ കൂടുതലും ഏതൊക്കെ ഡൊമെയ്നില്‍ (ഗൂഗിള്‍ ബസ്സ്, യാഹൂ ബസ്, ബ്ളോഗ്ഗര്‍.കോം, വേര്‍ഡ്പ്രസ്സ് തുടങ്ങിയവ..) നിന്നാണെന്നു് അറിയണം എന്നു തോന്നി. രണ്ട് മാസത്തെ ഡാറ്റ പ്ളോട്ട് ചെയ്തത് ഇവിടെ ഷെയര്‍ ചെയ്യുന്നു:

മാതൃഭൂമി റെന്‍ഡറിങ്ങ് (ഐഫോണ്‍, ഐപാഡ് )

ഇവിടെയും ഇവിടെയും ഉള്ളതിന്റെ ബാക്കിയാണു് - here's how I fixed it, for reference.

their pages seem to be calling a few .ttf's and .eot's:

- one of those two ttf's, Meera_04-2.ttf was causing the bad rendering.

this is how I worked around it from within nginx - remove the ttf, eot et al from within a reverse proxy, nginx:

Take away:

Stop slapping Meera_04-2.ttf onto Apple iphone/ipad devices, this issue in its entirety will go away. Adjust your style declarations accordingly.

വെറുതെ ഒരില: സൌമ്യയെ വീണ്ടും കൊല്ലരുത് - - ഇതു പോലത്തെ വകകള്‍ കാണുമ്പോഴാണു് എന്‍കൗണ്ടറിനു സാധുത കല്പിച്ചു കൊടുത്തു പോവുന്നത്. മാസങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് മുമ്പ് തമിഴ്നാട്ടിലെ ഒരു വ്യാപാരിയുടെ രണ്ട് മക്കളെ പീഡിപ്പിച്ചു കൊന്ന പാലക്കാട് സ്വദേശി മോഹനകൃഷ്ണനെ തമിഴ്നാട് പോലീസ് എന്‍കൗണ്ടറില്‍ വധിച്ച വാര്‍ത്ത ഓര്‍മ്മയില്ലെങ്കില്‍ ഇതാ ഇവിടെയുണ്ട്.



ഒറ്റയൊരുണ്ടയ്ക്ക് കാര്യം കഴിയും - നീതിനിയമ വ്യവസ്ഥിതിയെ മക്കാറാക്കി ആളൂരുന്നതും, ആളിനു പകരം ആളെ വെക്കുന്നതുമൊക്കെ നമ്മക്ക് കാണണ്ടായല്ലോ!
