Thought I'd share the .deb package I created with Updated Malayalam Fonts to address the issue detailed here. (while we all continue to wait for a possibly better solution with no known ETA, this is what I ended up doing for my deployments worldwide.)

Please leave a comment here in case you've a feedback on this.

Just as a suggestion, make sure you don't have offending fonts in your $HOME/.fonts directory:

$ mv $HOME/.fonts $HOME/old.fonts

That should take care of your local fonts.


അതായത്, ആണവ ചില്ല് കാണിക്കുമ്പോഴത്തെ പ്രയാസങ്ങള്‍ മാറ്റാന്‍ അപ്ഡേറ്റ് ചെയ്ത ഫോണ്ടുകള്‍ എല്ലാമെടുത്ത് ഒരു .deb പാക്കേജുണ്ടാക്കി, അതിവിടെ ഷെയര്‍ ചെയ്യുന്നു. താത്പര്യമുള്ളവര്‍ക്ക് ഉപയോഗിക്കാം എന്തും ചെയ്യാം.

ഇന്സ്റ്റാള്‍ ചെയ്യുന്നതിന്റെ ഒരു വീഡിയോ സ്ക്രീന്‍ ഗ്രാബായി ചെയ്തത് താഴെയുണ്ട്.

അഭിപ്രായങ്ങള്‍/ഫീഡ്ബാക്ക് വല്ലതുമുണ്ടെങ്കില്‍ താഴെ കമന്റായി ഇട്ടാല്‍ മതിയാകും.
